Notes:
There were two programs listed as Concert #6; one was the 6th Concert, the other the 6th Subscription Concert.

Performance locations:
Odd Fellows refers to Odd Fellows Hall; High School probably meant Albany High School; Education Building (Educ. Bldg.) is now known as Chancellors Hall; Schuyler refers to the Philip Schuyler Elementary School in Albany; All Saints refers to the Cathedral of All Saints in Albany; First Reformed refers to First Reformed Church, Schenectady.

Program format changes:
Program covers went through quite a few changes in this period. A Mendelssohn logo did not appear on the first five programs. The first 12 covers were light brown; covers 13 through 15 were gray. Program #3 was string-bound. Covers 16 through 29 were off-white (possibly due to aging). Concert programs # 34 through #48 had light blue covers. Concert #211 program had a light blue/green cover. Concert #212 went to an elongated three-fold format with blue print. Concert # 213 kept the long format/three fold, but the print was black. Our present format was adopted for the 214th Concert Program in December 1985. The 240th Concert used red cover lettering, red and green inside lettering, and a larger program. The 90th Anniversary Program (#241) was light blue-gray with blue lettering and a large version of the format introduced in 1985. These early programs are in a good state of preservation and, as with all programs, news clippings, group and large format pictures, they are stored in page protectors in three-ring binders.
