The Mendelssohn Club has strong ties to the City of Albany and New York's Capital District. Since 1909 we have been performing throughout the area at numerous community events. Recent performances beyond our two major concerts have included:

Albany's Tulip Festival

An annual event that finds the Mendelssohn Club singing to the newly crowned Tulip Queen and her Court.

Game Opening Ceremonies at Professional and College Sporting Events

The Albany River Rats professional hockey team, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) College Hockey, Union College Hockey and Siena College Basketball audiences have enjoyed the club's stirring renditions of game-opening national and Canadian anthems.

Christmas Tree and Seasonal Lighting Ceremonies

The Mendelssohn Club sets a festive mood every year at municipal tree and street lighting ceremonies.

Fund Raising Events for Area Churches

Our voices are frequently raised in harmony for the benefit of area churches.

Benefit Performance for Big Brothers/Big Sisters

The Club was recently featured as entertainers for a major fund raising event at the Troy Music Hall.
