

The Mendelssohn Club has strong ties to the
City of Albany and New York's Capital District. Since 1909 we have been performing
throughout the area at numerous community events. Recent performances beyond our two major
concerts have included:
Albany's
First Night Celebration The Club plays a traditional
role bringing in the New Year with festive singing at First Church in
Albany.
Game Opening
Ceremonies at Professional and College Sporting Events
The Albany River Rats professional
hockey team, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) College Hockey and
Siena College Basketball audiences have enjoyed the club's stirring
renditions of game-opening national and Canadian anthems.
Christmas Tree
and Seasonal Lighting Ceremonies
The Mendelssohn Club sets
a festive mood every year at municipal tree and street lighting ceremonies.
